3 Types of Keto Recipes That Are Delicious and Fun

Do you want some new keto recipes that are delicious and fun at the same time? Well, here are a few perfect options you really need to try.

Low-carb diets date back as early as 776 BC. Some of the athletes in the Olympic games are documented as eating a lot of meat with minimal carbohydrates.

Many who want to begin the journey to weight loss and a healthier lifestyle struggle with feeling like there isn’t a variety to choose from.

Fortunately for those who need inspiration, we’ve compiled a list of three different types of keto recipes. So add these to your list of meals and snacks to try this week!

1. Keto Chocolate Mousse

The good news is, you don’t have to miss out if you have a random sweet tooth with the keto lifestyle diet! Keto chocolate mousse is a fast and easy keto dessert recipe to have any time of the day.

First, put three ounces of softened cream cheese into a large bowl and mix it until it’s fluffy. Slowly add in half-cup heavy whipping cream and one teaspoon vanilla extract with your mixer on a low speed. Mix in the powdered sweetener of your choice, cocoa powder, and salt.

Last, mix all the ingredients with your mixer on high for about one to two minutes. You can serve this recipe right away or store it in the refrigerator until later.

2. Keto Ground Beef Casserole

If you have a busy day and don’t know what to do for dinner, turn to this keto dinner recipe! It’s an easy and fast recipe to put on the table within 30-40 minutes.

Defrost two pounds beef or turkey package if it’s still frozen. You’ll want to brown the meat with seasonings such as onion and garlic powder. Don’t worry if the center of your meat isn’t fully cooked since you’ll finish it in the oven.

Once you’ve ground your meat, pour it into a two-quart casserole dish lined with olive oil. At this time, add four ounces of cream cheese to the meat.

Finally, add a half cup of sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture and the other half cup to the top layer of the dish.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

3. Keto Mac and Cheese

Did you ever think you could have mac and cheese without the guilt on your journey in fitness? You sure can!

You’ll need a 9×13 inch baking dish for this easy keto recipe. Place two medium heads of cauliflower florets tossed with two tablespoons of olive oil into the pan. Bake them at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until they are golden brown.

While the cauliflower is baking, put one cup of heavy cream in a large pot to cook at a medium temperature. Once it’s simmering, reduce the heat to low.

Then, add six ounces of cubed cream cheese, four cups shredded cheddar, and two cups shredded mozzarella.

Fold in the roasted cauliflower to the cheese sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.

For an added crunch, combine four ounces of crushed pork rinds, one-fourth cup of parmesan cheese, and one tablespoon of olive oil. Sprinkle the mixture on top of the cauliflower and cheese sauce.

Bake the mixture in the same baking dish for 15 minutes or until golden.
